Wannsee und Das Computerspiel Museum

Soooo I've been having a relax this week, which explains my lack of posting. Also my internet has run out and I won't be getting another. Only two weeks to go before we're finished now, I can't believe it!

All of my animations are starting to come together to make one piece in work so that is coming to a good conclusion too. I've made a lot of character animations and objects. Last week I finished off a cool little bubble car. I can't wait to put it all in my showreel!

The weekend before last I visited Wannsee, the man-made beach on a lake. It's a big lake and it's a really nice beach. You have to pay to get in, I think it was €2.50 for students and €4 otherwise. I went on an extremely nice weekend (I think the temperature reached 29ÂșC which isn't too bad for May).

Don't get off at the Wannsee S-Bahn Station, use the Nikolasee Station just before it (it's a lot closer to the beach). The walk from the station to the beach is really nice too. It's like a mini forest as you walk to the beach entrance.

Oh and just so your not surprised... if you walk down the path on the right you'll reach a nude beach!

This weekend we went to the Computerspiel Museum. It's ok, but not a museum. It's essentially a one floor exhibition. They have a lot of old game consoles (most of which you sadly couldn't play). There was a small section for old arcade games (you could play around 5 or 6). I played on Frogger and also asked a computer if it liked frogs. I think I confused it.... poor dab.

They also had information on a lot of games I played when I was little which was really cool to remember. Polly also liked the giant Pacman machine.

BUT the star of the show 'Das Pain Station'..... was broken!! It has been for around 2 weeks. Plus you can only play on the other old classic arcade games on Mondays (we went on Sunday). Overall I wouldn't recommend it, but go on a Monday if you do go. They don't charge any less even though most of the cool things in the 'museum' are unusable!

  1. As an art student researching the work of the Impressionists, I have big help from this site called wahooart.com. It's like a good art library, where, convenient for me, works of artists are divided into art movements in history. Some of the works I had never seen before.
As the canvas prints are affordable, I ordered online a little size canvas print of my favorite,
